THE SONG IS ABOUT THAT FAMOUS WHITE LIGHTENING SOMETIMES CALLED MOUNTAIN DEW BUT......... Back in 1950"s in Mason, Va, Mountain Dew became a soft drink. Loaded with more caffine than any other and proporting to be made for and by hillbillies. It was eventualy bought by Pepsi and kind of put 7up to shame.
